The five programmes below are specifically designed to provide legal business owners and consultants with a tailored mentoring coaching programme to enable you to build or enhance your business skills so that you can serve more clients profitably.

There are two business-based programmes:

Six hours of mentoring - the aim of this programme is to assist Senior Associates to develop partnering skills or to get you started in setting up your own business.  It focuses on business skills and includes how to boost your confidence when entering the unknown.

Eight hours of mentoring  - this is aimed at Managing Partners and/or and the focus is on  skills to grow your business and team. Plus we review your marketing and pricing strategies. This includes what routes to market suit your clients including networking in person and social media platforms. A business grown action plan going forward is then created using tried and tested methods.

I have been working with Ann since becoming self-employed as a Consultant Solicitor. Ann is an excellent coach. She has been there and done it and is able to provide clear and insightful advice on running a business within the legal sector. Ann is an absolute pleasure to work with, she is quick to spot the issues in need of attention and offer solutions. I feel that Ann is my greatest supporter, delighted when things are going well, but not afraid to be frank when things need improving. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Lindsay Dixon, then a Consultant Solicitor now a Partner & Head of Commercial at Wosskow Brown.

Ann has supported me with sessions on business development and “getting more clients”. I found them really useful, in terms of identifying where my strengths and opportunities might be. Of course, ultimately it is down to me to go out and put it all into practice, but it really helps to have someone give you that confidence and direction.

David Sillitoe, Partner Robinson Ralph

There are three critical interpersonal skills-based programmes:

Self-confidence - either stand alone or as part of the business programme. This includes processes to remove the blocks to your self-confidence such as turning your 'Inner critic to Inner cool', Body language and assertive techniques to support or improve your self-confidence.

Ann’s approach is personable and easy to understand. She does the ‘graft’ so you don’t have to. She is my ‘go-2-expert’ and has been instrumental in enabling me to overcome challenges so that my leadership and business can grow and thrive.

Jodie Hill, Managing Partner, Thrive Law

Ann has been my mentor for approximately 4 years now and during that time has helped me through a job change and to navigate politics at work.  It has been invaluable to talk to someone who was independent, with Ann's level of experience and seniority, in a constructive and thought-provoking manner and I could not have done it without her. Thank you, Ann.

Alice Poole, Senior Solicitor

Ann is incredibly knowledgeable about helping legal businesses to grow. She has been helped me improve my confidence in getting new business; managing my time and staff.

Noreen Khan, Managing Partner, Kaiser Solicitors

Each subject can be tailored to your particular circumstance and business.

Katrina Jackson

I was very fortunate to have personal coaching with Ann to assist me with a management role at work.  I found her to be extremely supportive and have a depth of understanding on individual issues, as well as providing a more general training programme tailored for me drawing on her wealth of experience.  Despite the intentional general plan, Ann was quick to adapt as we progressed to tailor it precisely to my needs at short notice. I have come away from our sessions far more informed and focused.  Would thoroughly recommend

Katrina Jackson, Partner PWW Solicitors

  • Coaching can be face to face, Zoom, Skype or by telephone.
